Hey Y'all!

I'm Lucy, a 20-something saved by grace, Wife to H (For Husband, Handsome, Helpful, Hunky, just to name a few) and brand new Momma to B (For Baby, Boy, Bubbly, Blessing, etc). I'm a Yankee transplant who found home down South, and a recovering perfectionist housewife.

I used to think I didn't have much of a testimony, being a pretty well-mannered, people-pleasing good-girl most of my life, but then I realized I'm still living my testimony. Jesus saves me everyday; from pride, and anger, and words that shouldn't be said, and unforgivness, and being overwhelmed. Mostly, He saves me from myself. This thing, this Wife, Mother, Woman of God thing is wonderful, and hard, and absolutely impossible to do on our own. We need God, and we need each other. So, that's why I'm here. Because even though, I'm unsure of just how useful a recipe or rant can be, maybe it's exactly what you needed to hear today, and I'll leave that to Him.

This blog is all about enjoying life, becoming a better wife, mother, writer, and person, and leaning on God through it all.

And if we discover the world's best meal plan or discuss how utterly annoying it is to wait for the oven to preheat -so much the better!
